Welcome to the Irons Family Blog. 

This blog was started to assist with information and updates when we discovered that Chris Irons – beloved brother, husband, father, uncle & friend – was diagnosed with leukemia.  We were devastated to lose him in just a few short months after the diagnosis.  We have preserved the updates and comments in the section called “Chris’ Page.”

We know there are lots of Irons’ around the world.  Our growing family lives mostly in Southern California, having moved here from Oklahoma in the 1930′s.  At the present time, we have many different surnames in our extended Irons family.  Through extensive genealogical research, we have been able to find a plethora of ancestral information.  Our historical Irons-side surnames include Walker, Harvey, Wilson, Willheights, Cravens, Bowman, Queen, Haley.
